In Loving Memory of
Michael Gregoire

"It is with great sadness that I share the news that Michael Gregoire passed away Friday, August 26th.  It's impossible to sum up a person in a few paragraphs but here are a few things that come to mind.

Mikey was a proud veteran of the Navy and had been around the world several times over the course of his service as both an enlisted man and as a civilian contractor.
He was a great cook and loved spending time in the kitchen cooking for others.  Name a kitchen gadget and he probably owned it or was in the process of getting it.  He loved trying out new recipes he'd find online and he especially enjoyed dining out with friends.

Mikey loved helping with home improvement projects.  He had a wide assortment of knowledge after years of helping his friend Michael gut and remodel houses in Ohio.  He enjoyed taking trips to Home Depot and Lowes and would always be checking out what new tools or appliances were available.

Mikey loved TV and movies, especially British crime dramas, sci-fi, and animated comedies.  He had a collection of over 500 movies he had acquired over the years.
Mikey had a wide variety of creative interests including beading, hot glass work, and 3D modeling.  We joked around that he had a "butterfly" complex because he was constantly jumping from one interest to the next with never enough time to explore everything.  He had a curiosity about the world and never stopped learning.  He was basically a big kid in a grown man's body.

Mikey was one of the nicest people that I've ever met...a great partner and friend.  He was always concerned with the well-being of those he cared about.  In times of need, he would immediately drop what he was doing to help out others.  Although he sometimes sounded like a curmudgeon, he would frequently strike up conversations with complete strangers, telling them his whole life story if they let him.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends."
